This is what I had to do On your blog, tell us how to solve this maths problem. You can write your answer in words, use a Sketchpad image, or post a video explaining how you would figure it out. Be sure to give us your final answer in millilitres (ml).
For my working out I had use mulituption.
Working Out:
3 x 365 =
3 x 300 = 900
3 x 60 = 180
3 x 5 = 15
900 + 180 + 15 = 1095
Hey Oalii,
ReplyDeleteI love Maths, specially the "working out" part because it shows that no problem is too big when you can break it down in small steps and also that are many paths to solve a problem. However, it's important to know that the working out is no the final answer but rather a very important element of it because it shows your thinking behind the solution. For this post it would be great if wrote your final answer to the problem which would be something along this line : "In a full year I will give the cactus 1095 ml of water", do you see what I mean? If that was a Maths test you wouldn't get full points despite having found the correct number, luckily is not! :0)
You are doing great and I can't wait to see your next posts! Keep up!
Kia kaha,
Patricia
