Maths Recap

This weeks maths focus is Multiples and Factors. Here is another maths task I accomplished. So this task I timed myself to see how long it would take to finish this, and my overall time was under 5 minutes, I was pretty happy about that. Overall this was a fun hope to do another task like this another times.

Multiplication Magic 2.0

Kia Ora Readers, this morning i decided to catch up on all my work, just so I'm up-to date in my work. This task is all about multiples. I did have a little trouble with this, but at the end I manged to work it all out. This task also helped me to understand how to multiply big numbers. I really enjoyed this maths task, hopefully I get another task like this later in the weeks. Enjoy

Multiples and Factors

Morning Readers, this is my maths task for week 3. This is all based around Multiples, Factors, and Prime numbers. This task was actually pretty easy, mainly because I did this last year, and I also know my times tables pretty well. Hopefully we get another task like this.

Atiu Warriors

Kia Ora readers, and welcome to my second blog post of the year. So this is my first reading task of they year. My literacy class has 4 reading groups, the names of each reading group is based on Islands from across the Cook Islands. The groups were Mauke Magic, Tongareva Titans, Aitutaki Sharks, and Atiu Warriors. I'm in the Atiu Warriors along with 7 other students.

So, the task this week is to just basically learn a bit of fact about the reading group you are in. A fact that I learnt was, Atiu is the third largest island in the cook islands, and the people on that island are very welcoming.

About me

Kia Ora, Talofa lava, Malo e Lelei and greetings to you all. My name is Oalii. I'm 12 year of age, and I come from a Tongan and Samoan descent.

I attend Pt England school, as a year 8, and I am lucky enough to be one of 8 prefects in this school.

My teachers for this year are Mr Moran for literacy and Mrs Stone for Maths.

I enjoy playing netball, cricket, and volleyball. My favourite subject for school is maths, because I like getting involved in group talks and having discussion time. I like spending time with my family and having games night.

I am looking forward to what we will be learning this year. Feel free to leave a positive comment on my blog post.
