Maths: Pie Graphs

This is my second task for this week. As you know my maths task for the first two weeks are all about graphs and charts. This certain task was based on Pie chart. This was a bit harder then the bar graph chart because the pie graph included percentage. But overall this task was great and fun to do.

  1. Hi Oali'i

Well done for completing this task! It sounds like you've really got the hang of reading pie graphs. I like how you point out that while they quickly show us the least and most popular category, they often don't give us much extra information like the number of people who voted.

  3. Kia ora Oali'i,
I love pie graphs because they are very easy to read quickly once people know how they work. You certainly know how to interpret them!
Good work at spotting out the limits of pie graphs. People can be manipulated by visual data that may be true in the graph but leave out important details. You've spotted these omissions with your mathematical eye!
    Keep safe, Ngā mihi,
    Mr Vogt
