So my this is my first maths task for term 2. We are still learning at home so we are still doing our normal hangouts. This task will follow therw to week 2 and its all about Charts and Graphs. This was a really fun task to do. Can"t wait for more tasks like this.

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you enjoyed this activity. It was great to see that you are able to identify the least and most popular answer and calculate the number of people surveyed! Today in the hangout we discussed words to use in statistics. for example, lets take the first graph 'nicest fruit'. What you said was perfect, because you said that blueberries were the most popular and grapes the least. What we can't say, is that blueberries are most peoples favourite fruit. Why not? because over a hundred people were surveyed and 40/100+ isn't most people. If 98 people voted for blueberries, 1 voted for grape and 1 for banana then we can make the statement "most people said blueberries were there fave fruit'.
