Starry Night Art

Malo e lelei readers.

As you know the theme for this term is “Art Alive”. For this term each class from team 5 had to study, a famous artist. My class, room 4 had an artist called Vincent van Gogh. He was a Dutch post-impressionist painter. Vincent was famed for his bold, dramatic brush strokes, which often expressed emotion and added a feeling of movement to his work.

We first tried his style of painting a few weeks ago, but with pencils, and pastels. From there we notice that Vincent would have used a certain brush size to get the exact stroke he would want.

Later on we were able to create his Starry night art. While I was painting, I noticed that we had to create different shades of colours. Overall I thought this was a great experience with painting, and hope to do it again.

Here is my overall outcome. I hope you liked it.

Heart Origami

Task Description: So today while the year 8s went to tech my rotation group make origami's. Above here you can see I made an origami heart. KO wai o hoa?

This is my Te reo task for term 4. The main question was Ko Wai O Hoa? I had to answer the question with the right word, it was basically just like fill in the blank spot. This was pretty easy task to finish because I've done it before, and also I got straight into my work. Along with this I did a create task. And for the create task I did another Comic strip. Here it his down below.

Adorable Algebra

This is my maths work for week 1 term 4. We are now learning algebra. This was a pretty great way for us to get ready for a P.A.T test in week 3. This was a super challenging task for me as I don't really know much about this style of Maths. But overall I thought this task was a fun task to finish. I also worked on the this task with my friend which was awesome as well.

Van Gogh

Kia Ora, and welcome to my first blog post of Term 4. This term our school theme is Art Alive and in Te reo " Toi Ora ". So basically this is a an inquiry based task. Team 5 will be looking at different artist around the world , and learning about there background. Like term 3 we will be rotating around each class so we have different teachers teaching us about different artists. We learned about an artist called Van Gogh. What I learned and thought was pretty interesting about Van Gogh was that he was mentally and still manged to keep his art alive.

Kei te pehea te ahua o te rangi?

Kia Ora, fellow blog readers. This is my Te Reo task for this week. This time the question was based around weather. So our teacher created a slide show for us to accomplish. This was the same task as last week but a different question. So we had to figure out what kind of weather it was in the picture. This was a super fun task learning how to pronounce the weather in Maori. As always along with this task I created a comic strip for my create task. I loved how it turn out. Thanks for listening.

As I Saw it ~?

Hello fellow readers. This is another As I saw It task. I finished this task with my classmate Zamera. So for this task we carried on with the James Cook and the Maori's task. We each had an object that was either in the hands of a Maori person or in the hands of the person working for James Cook. When had to find out weather this object was traded and how it was used in this sistuation.

As I saw It ~

Hello Blog readers. This is another ~ As I Saw It ~. The Walt I had for this task was to understand how people remember and record the past in different ways. I worked with my friend Zamera. We each had a topic to research about, and to give us a head start Mrs. Stone give us site to read off from.

The topic our picked was to find out what was life like for Maori's in the 1769. As I researched I found out was that it was super hard to find information about my topic. I also learned Pekeha's tend to write there information's down, as with \Maori's they tend to speak aloud, so there voices are clearly heard.

Tuvalu WorkShop

So today team 5 were lucky enough to be a part of 2 workshops. The first workshop was based on theater performance , and the second workshop was based on Tuvalu dance.

Last week Rm 5, 1, and 4 took part in the theater workshop. Rm 11, 3, and 2 took place in the Tuvalu based workshop, we had to switch around. Which meant I had to contribute to the Tuvalu workshop.

Part of the Tuvalu workshop was to make sure we understood their cultural traditions, and just their culture in general.

Molia was the lady who ran our workshop, along with her assistant Mary Ann.

The first thing we did was learn the basic but important facts about Tuvalu. One thing I learnt that was interesting was that the Islands of Tuvalu is actually the 4th smallest country in the world. And there's about 11,00 people in tuvalu.

From there we got to learn about the unique dance costumes that are used for their traditional dances. We also learned about how to make those unique costumes. We learnt about the Fou, Safe, Titi kulama, and Titi toa, those were just the main 4 costumes they introduced to us.

Not long after that we start a Tuvalu dance. We had split into 2 groups: a girls group and a boys group. Us girls had to follow Mary Ann and the boys leader was Molia.

The dance was short and sharp. All we needed to do was listen up and follow the instructions. As we did we finished learning the moves and actions.

Overall it was super fun getting to know about the islands of Tuvalu. And even though Tuvalu language week is in the holidays it's great two know we did something to celebrate it. And I bet all of us enjoyed that wonderful experience.

Taha Wairua ~

This my final Te Whare Tapa wha task. Which is Taha Wairua. Taha Wairua is based around your spiritual health.

So basically I had to get a coloured object and say it in Maori. I've done this sort of task before so I concord it pretty well. This was a super fun task to finish. Hope to do it again sometime.

He aha te tae ?

Kia Ora. This is a Te Reo based task. The Walt for this task was ~ ask and answer questions about what things are.~ In this case the question for this task was He aha te tae ? ~ Makawe ~. Then our follow up task I had to answer the questions on the slides in Te Reo. This was a super fun task to accomplish.  Along with this comes with a comic strip hope you enjoy.

Quotes For 2020

Hello fellow blog readers. SO this is my own certain task I have done. This is basically just many quotes to keep me motivated. What I thought was cool was that I started this on the date 26/07/20 and finished it today. I Hope your motivated as well. ~ Take Care.

Te Reo Maori Moment ~

Today is the first very day of Maori language week. To celebrate this wonderful moment Pt England School is having a special moment. So 12:00 on the dot we will be singing a Maori waiata E Ihoa. Reason for that was because in the year 1972 at 12:00 pm 30,000 people petitioned to keep the native Maori Language alive.

Divine Decimals

Kia Ora fellow blog readers. This is my first task for this week and also my first maths task this week. So this task was mainly about adding and subtracting decimals, and also converting between the units of measurements. Then on page 8 I had to guess how much of that certain food weighs in grams. Then page 7 I had to guess how many ml are in those drugs. Lastly on page 5 I had to guess the time on each clock.

So basically its different problems in one presentation. This was super fun to do.

Te Reo ~ He Haketa Kikorangi?

Malo E lelei fellow blog readers. Thanks for stoping by to see this blog post. So this was a Te reo task we had to in rotations while the Year 8s were at tech. This was based around colours and objects. I had to fill in the sentences and figure out what colour that jacket is or the ball. Since it was Te reo I had to answer all the questions in Maori. This was a absolute great task. I always enjoy Te Reo.

Along with this task I had to accomplish and create task as well.  I had to make a comic strip, and I had to repeat what we did on the follow up task. I like to make things more bright, and so I did the comic strip my way. This was also a cool task to finish.

Funky Fractions 2

Hello blog readers.

So this is my second maths task for today. But as you can see from the front page it is part 2 of the funky fractions.

This was just basically covering what we did on Monday. This was super fun to do. Thanks for listening ~ Take Care ~

Area ~ Perimeter, Of a Tapa Cloth

Kia Ora fellow blog readers.
In today's task I had to find out the Area and Perimeter of a Tapa cloth. Now if you go on the slide with the problem on it it seems pretty easy. Until you find out those cm's are for one of the squares. That was really hard just to even understand what was going on, in the slides.

In this task I had to add and multiply. This was a very challenging maths task. I would write some answers and then write another answer. But with a little bit of help from one of my friend I was able to finish this maths  based task off properly. Thanks for listening ~ Take Care ~.

Why Culture Is Important To Me !

Talofa Lava, and Malo e Lelei, fellow blog readers.

So in today's task  Room 4 had to do a culture based task. Well we had to write about our cultural traditions and how we/I celebrate it.

Now if you read my all about me, I am lucky enough to have both Samoa and Tonga culture through my bloodline. Now for me I thought it would of been a bit bias if I only picked one culture. So I decided to make 2 slides talking about each Individual culture. I love both country and I hope to do this task again some time.

Tongan Travel !

Hey fellow blog readers. So today in maths Room 4 did a algebra based math problem. The story was about a boy ~ Tomu ~ well he was about to leave for trip to the islands of tonga. But unlucky for him he didn’t know anything about his Aunt or Uncles. So his father made a graph to tell him more about his Uncles and Aunties.

Each person represented a thing. Aunty Ana = Most children, Uncle Loni = Tallest, Uncle Pita = Oldest, and Aunty Kuini.

So basically there were 3 graphs from there we had to figure out which dot was which Aunty or Uncle.

For me the graphs did make it seem a bit to hard, but if I clearly looked at it I would of got it.

So what happened Mrs Stone actually wrote the names in order which made it easier for us to actually work out the full problem.

Funky Fractions

Malo e Lelei blog readers. Welcome to another week of posting. So this is my first maths based task for this week. And the platform around this task is mainly about Equivalent Fractions. This was again a good task to finish some question we challenging but I manged to get it done before our school intervals. I'm glad I finish this task. I love doing these types of maths problems. Thanks for listening. ~ Take Care ~.

Have a Happy Tongan Language Week.

Tongan Language Week

This week is Tongan Language week. Tongan language week is the celebration of the Tongan culture and language and to introduce New Zealanders to it. In New Zealand there are more Tongans born than there is in the actual country, as of now. And so it’s very important to acknowledge the Tongan Heritage. The theme for this year is “ Fakakola o Aotearoa aki ae Lotu Mo’oni”. If you translate it in English it’s “ Enriching Aotearoa New Zealand through Prayer and Faith”.
What Do the Colors and Symbols of the Flag of Tonga Mean? - WorldAtlas
~ The capital of Tonga is Nuku Alofa.
~ Tonga is a Polynesian Kingdom of greater than 170 south pacific islands.
~ The population of the Kingdom of Tongan comes up to 103,197 in the year 2018.
~ The island of Tongan was actually found in the year 1970 on June the 4.
~ Tonga's King is a man named Tupou Vi.
~ In Tonga they are 1 hour ahead of New Zealand * Time Based*

This photo we took was actually when family members from Tonga travelled here to New Zealand to take part in our Family reunion. This reunion was held in Hamilton. This family is from my Mom's side. This was really fun to attend.

In these photos this was in the year 2015. And My family and I had the opportunity to actually go to Tonga and meet people there. This was a time to really get to know each other and spend time together. This was a super fun experience. And I hope to do it again.

Once again have a happy Tongan Language Week.

~ Measurements! ~

Malo e Lelei blog readers. Welcome. Again thanks for taking the time out to check this post I've accomplished today. So today Room 4 are doing F.I.O.P (finishing it off properly.). And I thought what better way to do F.I.O.P then post a Maths task.

So this task as you can see from the front of the slide show is based on Measurements. This was a decent task. I was super challenged while doing this task. Especially the task when I had to Convert Between These Units of Measurements.

Againg Thanks for listening ~ Take Good Care ~.

Whare Tapa Wha ~ Taha Hinengaro

Hi blog readers. Welcome, again. Thanks for taking your time to check out this post. So as you probably already have seen this is a Whare tapa Wha based task. And this third wall I did which is this task is about Taha Hinengaro. One thing I found out was that Taha Hinengaro is based on your mindset on what you think about. So for this task I picked a photo of me and wrote some words are my face. These word based on what I do and what I think of myself as. once again Thanks for Listening ~ Take Good Care ~.

Te Reo: He pene tau?

Kia Orana, Blog readers. Welcome again. So this is my task that we did when the year 8 students went off to tech. In case you you were wondering this is a Te Reo based task, and this task my teacher was Ms Tapuke. So for this task Ms Tapuke ask us a simple question in Maori " He Pene Tau " and if you translate it in English it is " Have You Got a pen ". And so well after that we had to answer in Maori. And in case you still don't get what this is all about check out the slide show that I have accomplished today.

So along with this task. I had a create task as well. SO we had to make a comic strip showing kids asking questions in Maori to there friend. This was a Pretty fun task to finish. I really enjoy doing Te Reo. ~ Thanks For Listening ~ Take , Care ~

Whare Tapa Wha : Taha Whanau

Good Morning blog readers. So Today I did another task which again was about Whare Tapa Wha. Before this post I did a task based on the wall Taha Tinana. Well this task was based on another wall which was ~ Taha Whanau ~. So throughout this time I was doing this task I learnt the Taha Whanau is about creator a tight bond with others. And that tight bond doesn't need to be you immediate family and friends.   It can be peers, colleagues and people around the community's. Hope your being a great friend to others. Thanks for Listening. ~ Take Care ~

Whare Tapa Wha : Taha Tinana

Hey, blog readers. So between 11:30 to 12:40 we've been learning about Taha Tinana. If you don't know already Taha Tiana is a wall. They are four walls creating a house which is Whare Tapa Wha. The main platform that is based on the wall Taha Tinana is your physical health. Here in this was I had to describe in my word What Taha Tinana is , How lockdown affected Taha Tinana and How you can support our physical wellbeing. This was a super fun task to do. Hope your keeping heathy. Thanks for listening.

Revising Fractions and Decimals!!!!

Malo e Lelei , blog readers.  This blog post I actually did in school time. This is a maths based work, and the platform around this task is fractions and decimals. This task had Equivalent Fractions, and Adding Decimals. This was a actual decent task. Because I knew the Equivalent fraction part but then I had heaps of trouble with the adding decimal. I love a to challenge myself with maths question, and with a bit of help by my teacher Mrs. Stone I was able to be one of the first person to blog in my maths group.

A Moon Myth

Talofa Lava, blog readers. This task is also part of my catch up work. This is a reading based subject and this story is based on another famous Maori myth (Rona and The Moon). This was the first myth I was actually familiar myth because when I was younger my class sang a song about Rona and the Moon.  The reason why we did this task was to make connections across a range of texts and well know'n as my walt for last weeks task. Anyways Thanks for listening and checking out my blog.

Rona and Moon Myth

In a small village there lived a little family. A mother Rona, her lazy husband and her children. Although Rona’s husband had the job of carrying containers filled with water to keep the family hydrated, sadly Rona was left with most of the responsibilities.

One night Rona and her family ran out of water. It was super dark and so obviously instead of her husband getting water, he with no hesitation sent Rona down to get more water. Rona didn’t have a choice so off she went.

The moon was the only light Rona had. Rona ran as quickly as she could, leaping through rocks, and branches. Rona was not yet halfway by the water hole so she continued running. Then, out of nowhere, a huge cloud passed across the moon’s face. That incident caused Rona’s path and the night to turn pitch black.

Rona not having a clue on where she was running, she tripped and fell over branches and rocks. Rona felt the full impact in her fall causing her to be out for some minutes. Rona was badly bruised and badly hurt.

All of a sudden she started yelling these awful words to Marama the moon. And so Marama had enough of it and proceeded to grab Rona. With a tight grip Rona was able to hold on to a branch of a ngaio tree. Although Rona had a strong grip it was no match for Marama.

And so along with the ngaio branch the Moon had successfully captured Rona. Marama was able to teach Rona to be polite and have manners. Marama politely asked Rona if she wanted to enter back into her real world, but Rona had refused to go back.

And so when her family looks up into the moon they are able to see Rona’s shadow in the moon.

Te Ika A Maui

Kia Ora Everyone. I know I haven't been posting for awhile, so I decided  to post all the things I'm behide on. Starting with this task Te Ika A Maui. This is a reading based task, based on a popular Maori Myth  Te Ika A Maui. The only thing I missed out on was the storyboard and the writing, but I figured they'd go well on a different post, just because they relate is some way.  I also loved reading aloud because it gives me more and more confident's to be comfortable with reading. And I can tell I'm improving in reading which is awesome as well. Thanks for Listening.

Leadership Goal ,, For 2021

Kia Ora Everyone. So this task is really just Bradley and I talking about goals we want to accomplish, and how much we love it in the Senior block. One of our goals is to become prefects which mean we have to be role models , be respectful to other ,  if we want that prefect role.

We've also added prefects from 2017 , 2018 , 2019 , and 2020. I really do understand why they were all prefects and why they had that role. It was honestly because how they treated kids within the age of 5 , 6 , 7 , and 8. And they were constantly super kind.  So I do want to have a role of being a prefect. And whats cool is that I can ask my cousin some tips because in 2018 he had the prefect role.

Here you should go check out my friends Blog.

Step Up, Leadership + Photos

Step Up For 2021

This year's Step Up program was astonishing! I am so grateful for the opportunity we were given to step out of our comfort zone.

The activities we should definitely keep for 2020 are all activities. I would like to keep all the games because it mainly helps us to cooperate with each other but also to support each person even if they are not on the same team. But I do think it would be amazing if we add in more sports to the timetable, and also more team time just to get everyone on the same page but also to work as a team together to be awesome leaders and role models.

Overall, these three days are really important. It is so good for us to step out of our comfort zone. But to also step up while the year 8s are away. But it is good showing off a bit of your talent. It also helps us get ready for the future.

This is m second task for the country Cambodia. I made a country poser with facts I know about he country Cambodian. Even though I didn't finish early I managed to finish it off properly. I'm glad on how it turned out.

Cambodian Myth Of Lightning, Thunder And Rain

The Myth Of Hermes

Today in Inquiry we learnt about the ancient Greeks and some famous myths. We learnt about the different gods, their creation story and about Hermes. Read the Story of Hermes Below

Immersion Assembly

Today was the first day of term 3. We started the day with a Immersion Assembly. Each team had the opportunity of presenting what there focus is, as part of our new topic: A World Of Difference.

My favourite performance was team 5. From my perspective I just loved team 5's performance. I'm not pick team 5 because it's my team but I loved the concept of it. All the other teams had great performances. Team 5 will be learning about legends and myths. For there Performance they acted out a Polynesian myth : Sina and the Eel:. This story was not a new story  to some of us as we have heard of it before. Anyways what I found out was that the three dots on a coconut remark the face of the Eel. They even say with you drink out of it, it's like your kissing the Eel.

Brothers Rugby Games + Photos.

On Saturday the 4th of July both of my brothers had a rugby game. Unfortunately I was only able to go see my younger brothers game, because if I was to go back a fourth the car would run out of gas.

Anyways I was very into watching my younger brother play mainly because he would do some tackles even though he was one of the smallest boys on the field. Two of the great things about my younger brother Ofili is that he started off playing tackle rugby. A lot younger boys start with rippa rugby but because of how ruff he is at home my Dad decided to move him in a tackle rugby team. The other great thing about him is he is only 6 years of age but he is playing in a under 8 team. But even though he is a great player there are some things he needs to work. Unfortunately there team didn't win but I think they had awesome team work and did some pretty great tackling. SO great job Ofili good luck on your next game:)

Next is Kruz. Because Kruz is in college he now plays for his school which is St Paul's. He fits in great and I can tell he enjoys playing with his friends. Kruz plays number 4. Kruz is a pretty tall guy so when he tackle he puts a strong impact on the runner. He is really good at playing rugby. He now has been playing rugby for 8 years so of course rugby is his passion. Rugby has also helped he to stay fit and active. My dad says he still needs more practice, and I agree because prefect practice makes prefect game. Unfortunately he also wasn't able to win but he played an awesome game. Great job Kruz hope you do well in your next game.

Reflection On Term 2

Unfortunately Term 2 is coming to a end. Theirs been heaps of bumps through the journey but we have to finish off the term properly.

Lock Down!
We spent a lot of out time at home due to Covid 19. But we were still able to learn a lot through  the process. It felt super different as we had to do a google meet as our normal class. So we had to be fine with the process of turning our mics on and off. Our normal teachers would give us task Literacy, Maths, and Inquiry.

Back To School For Level 1 & 2!
In week 6 we were able to go back to physical school. It was very different as our home class was our maths class. We also had our own desks. But it was nice to see my friends in person. But I did like it in Mrs Stones class.

Volley Ball!
School had started and a bit of sports to including volley. I really enjoy playing volley ball and Im actually a decent player as well. I love hitting the ball and about starting off the rally rounds. And I like how my team always works together to take the victory. We also played elimination round.  And I was lucky enough to be the last player on my team and to also take the victory. It was super fun.

Term 2 was such a Ride. With ups and down but it was super fun.

Literacy: Week 12, Term 2: The 1 Million Pound Bank Pt2

This is my part 2 of the 1,000,000 pound bank. This text was super long to read. This was also part to of this task. The main character was Henry.

Henry was great holding money, he had no family with him, but he was a good guy.

I really liked the overall finish to this task:).

Maths: Week 12, Term 2: Fractions Level 2.3

This is my maths task for week 12. I was in level 2.21 but I thought I was getting quite good at Improper Fractions and  Equivalent Fractions. The Equivalent Fractions were a challenge for me but I manged to get it done before the Due date.

Monday, 29 June 2020

Maths: Week 12, Term 2: Fractions Level 2.21

This is my maths task for week 12 this maths was based on Improper fractions and Equivalent. I'm in the group 2.21 which mean Im good at fractions but just need a bit more practice.

Literacy: Week 12, Term 2: The 1,000,000 Bank Note

Literacy: Week 11, Term 2: Scandalous Satire

This is my Literacy task for this week. For this task we read texts from sites. We then had to figure out if it was a Factual or a Satirical text. My favourite texted I read was about the Carolina reaper. I liked the texts mainly because I already knew it was a real text. Over all the task was super fun to do.

Tuesday, 23 June 2020

Maths : Week 11, Term 2: Level 1 Facile Fraction

This is my maths task for week 11. For this task we figured our focus will be on fractions. Mrs. Stone separated us in to 2 groups Level 1 and 2. Level 2 is for people who are confident in fractions, and most yr 8s went up, even though I think I'm pretty decent in fractions, but I just wanted to clear the things I need to know just in case I missed some steps. Anyways in my group Mrs Stone gave us paper with a fraction on it and we had to find out where we stand my. My fraction was 15/16. It was actually a really fun task to do knowing that I wasn't lost at all.

Monday, 22 June 2020

Maths: Week 11, Term 2: Testing Transformations

This task is my maths task. This task was based on Rotations, and Transformations. What I had to do on the second and fourth slide is put the letters where Mrs. Stone tells me to put it in the instructions. The third page was just based on rotating the shape around.

Literacy: Week 11, Term 2: Fake News

This literacy task is based on fake information. Fake information can really get a reaction for some readers. Its also bad to put false information on the media, 1 it can mess with readers minds and sometimes they reject the actual truth, and 2 it can cause harm to some readers out there. So overall I learnt to never put fake news up even if it wont bring harm to people.

Writing: Week 10, Term 2: Protests

Have you ever wondered what it was like to be a part of a protest?
The Majority of the people protest in order to fight for their personal rights.Protesting has been a common thing for over 150 years.. Think about it, if we go back to 100s of years ago people protested about the Pakeha taking land from the Maori and in the present day people protest about Black lives Matter.

There's many different ways to protest. People do Meetings, Hikoi, Petition, Rally, and Strike. Protesting is legal to most countries. Which means you're allowed to protest.

What is a Protest?
The moral of protesting is usually to object an idea that the government is doing as well as what's happening around the world. People protest to back up their beliefs and opinions. They also want the ideas to be heard, and justice to be served. The way they do it is to get everyone's attention. They also protest to have equal rights.

What causes a Protest to take place?

Protests usually happen when people disagree with an idea or a law. A mass of protesters come together and strike or hikoi across a path chanting something out, to get attention. For example an action is formed by a mass group, and meanwhile the people around them disagree with the action. Then they proceed to take part in a protest. That way the government may change its mind.

Are protests actually successful?
Well Protests can be successful, some aren’t. Really if the government is very happy with their choice and the people disagree and protest I guarantee the government would most likely not change their minds. There's been over a few successful protests. A common protest I know that came successful in the end was the women's Suffrage. In the women's suffrage women protested to have the right to vote for government. Kate Sheppard got lots of people to sign a petition. But the wasn

In conclusion, people have protested for over 150 years, and I guarantee that there will be many more protests in the future.

Oalii Advertisement

This is a pen. This pen has one button. That one small button can do such a big thing. That small button can help you catch a robber. Now this pen can help you. This pen has one button the button can shut down and lock everything including your devices. It can help because if theirs a robber trying to rob your house quickly press that little button and "BOOM! Your house is locked. It helps you trap the robber and you get you stuff back to. That small button shuts all the windows doors and turns on all the security camera.

Writing: My Invention

My Invention that I came up with is #No Germs 2.0. Now My invention is not the flashest not that stylist. But I went for kind of a colourful but helpful Invention. And I came up with the #No Germs Allowed 2.0. So first you will see a Purple large box/square. In that box there is a smaller box with four hands. The four hand represent them giving the object. The four objects I chose were Hand Sanitiser,Hand soap, Tissue box, and a Supply Box. The first hand is holding the hand soap. If you don’t have hand sanitiser use the hand soap. This hand soap can wash your germs away in 5 seconds. Then the next hand is giving out tissues. If you need to sneeze or cough the #No Germs Allowed 2.0 is on his way to give you tissues. Tissue save your germs from spreading around. The second to last hand is giving out hand sanitiser. Hand sanitiser is a important thing to have it keeps your hand from dirtiness and stops you from getting germs or anyone else. Now our last hand is holding a supply basket. This object I had thought outside the box. So when your out of toilet paper just ask the #no Germ Allowed 2.0 basket it will give you what you need. It will come in great handy. What's also cool about this invention is that all the objects are unlimited which means it doesn’t run out.

Writing: T2 W2 Writing Task

Maths: Multiplication Magic

 Multiplication Magic
We are learning to use place value to solve multiplication problems using whole numbers.

A factor is…. Something you can times it with to make up that certain number.

Factors of 24: 1, 6, 4, 12

Factors of 30: 6, 5, 10, 3

A Multiple is…. Counting in that number, like 2, 4, 6, 8 and so on

Multiples of 6: 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48, 54 ,60

42 =16

√49 =7

25 x 8 =200

20 x 8 = 160

5 x 8 = 40

25 x 15 = 375

20 x 15 = 300

5 x 15 = 75

Show your working under each problem:
1. Mrs Ilaoa orders 5 boxes of bats. If each box contains 7 bats, how many bats are there altogether?
