This is a task from the summer learning journey. Today my class and I signed up to do the summer learning journey. For this task I had to make my own Pepeha. This was actually a simple task but some of the question didn't have my Mountain or Sea so I just had to figure it out myself. This was such a fun task to do I wonder what we are going to be doing next.
Kia ora Oalii,
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you. Well done on starting your summer learning journey! I am happy that you are coming on this journey with me. This is my second year being a blogger commenter and I have just completed my degree to become a teacher. You can check out my blog page to see some pictures of me and the team! What are you looking forward to doing this summer?
Just a friendly reminder that the Summer Learning Journey programme has already started, therefore you can now stop with your teaser week blogs and go straight into week 1. You will be able to get points for week 1 onwards, so you can be in to win some awesome prizes!

Good Evening Oalii,
ReplyDeleteI am Samuel, a Year 7 student attending Sacred Heart College. I am part of a trial period in which they are trying out students to be blog commenters, which means it is my first experience with this sort of position. However, I did complete the Summer Learning Journey as a student in previous years.
I enjoyed reading your pepeha and with it, learning a little bit about your heritage. Do you practice or abide by any cultural customs and traditions? I am Tongan, and though I have embraced and nurtured the culture since infancy, I feel I have only just scratched the surface and have so much more to learn about. This is a very good blog post, Well done, Oalii.
Kind Regards,
Samuel
