WALT:  write using the structure of a narrative

There was a woman called Norah-Jade she loved to dance but she wasn’t really good at it. As she practising her dance routine she was very frustrated because she would always get the choreography wrong. As she did her dance one more she still got it wrong and she was very anger and she just give up. The next day Norah-Jade woke up and she knew that she had to do dance practice. She didn’t want to practice because she already knew that whenever she does her dance routines she will get it wrong.

Instead if practising and practising she had an idea. Her idea instead of practising her choreography she went to her friends house. As she went to her friends house she asked Nina if she can hypnotize her so that she can be a better dancer. So as Norah-Jade laid down on Nina’s couch Nina started to say some word because that how Nina hypnotized people. She said ‘’hipiti hipiti hypnotize this girl and make her be a better dancer’’. As Nina was speaking she was twirling her hand around like a tornado.

Once Nina was finish hypnotizing Norah-Jade, Norah-Jade and Nina went back into Nina car and went back. When Nina was dropping of Norah-Jade home she had a huge smile on her face. Once Norah-Jade got to her house she was so excited to start practising her dance routine. So she got her dance clothes on and started practising. As she started dancing she new that she was still not so good at her choreography. As she knew that she was still bad at dancing she thought to herself “wait if Nina hypnotized on being a better dancer and it didn’t work then what did she do’’. ‘’Hmm’’. Norah-jade said in a confused voice.

When she got angerer she got back in to her normal clothes and got a taxis. As she got in the taxis car she sat in her seat and started to talk about what had just had happened to her just before she went in taxis. After Norah-Jade told about how she got hypnotized the taxis told her a little about herself. She said “Hi my a name is Oalii and not only am a I taxis driver but I am also an inventor”. Then Norah-Jade said in a surprised way “WOW”. Then Norah- Jade asked if Oalii if she can invent a time machine. Oalii said “i already made a time machine”. Then Norah-Jade said “OK can I use it please”. The Oalii said “yeah ok”. So she used it and went back in time. From now on I will be practising said Norah-Jade.

Task Description: What I had to do for this writing task was I had to write like Paul Jennings or to imagine I am Paul Jennings and writing like him. So I wrote a narrative with the main character  Norah-Jade the friend Nina and the Taxis driver and inventor
