Our unfinished bike track

Yesterday we had a walk down the bike track. We saw big piles of dirt. There were wriggle worms. The bike track  had heaps of curves. It was a bit narrow and a bit like the train track. It was like we were going on a treasure hunter. It was also like we were walking on a graveyard. Trees and mud hills were watching us.

The boys are taller than the girl.

The median for the boys are 140cm.

The median for is 130cm.

But the girls are taller than the boys because they did it wrong.

Also some of the girls did it wrong to.

Making jelly

First we poured a half a cup of milk. Also we added a bit of sugar and vanilla. Because it give it more flavour.

After that we sealed the bag so the ingredients won't tip out. The I put into a even bigger bag and added the to cold ingredients salt and ice.

Then we sealed the bigger big again and start to shake it. 

We continued to shake. My one was just about finished when Mr. Blakey called the last group.

Finally I ate my ice cream. Also the reason I use the ice was to make it more colder and we used the salt to make the ice cream freeze faster.

Kit Kat is the most popular out of all of them. Crunchie, snicker,and Mars is the least popular. Dream bar and dairy milk, Jelly tip, dark forest has the same amount. Also all them have one more person that likes Dream bar, dairy milk, Jelly tip, Dark forest than crunchie, Mars, and snicker.

Making bread

First you will need the ingredients which is flour,salt, and also yeast and a scale. First we all have to wash out the grems or the bacteria. Then we got into pairs. Then put in 100g of flour then a pech of salt. After that we added 11/2 and ¼ TSP of yeast. Next Mr. Blakey added a bit of water in the dry ingredients and we kead it. Also why do we need yeast? “It's because so the bread rises”. Then Mr. Blakey came around and put flour on the baking paper. After that we split the dough into 2 pieces then we surrounding the dough with flour. Next we put it to 2 balls and then put them in the in the oven. It smelled like fresh baked bread right from the oven. The bread was crispy on the outside but in the inside its felt like dough. When I I ate the bread it tasted like dough and it's also taste really good with the butter. We had so much fun making bread.

100m final

Do you know what it's like to be in the Olympic sprint final? “On your mask! We were under starter’s orders. I was in the final my name is Oalii. Were you feeling nervous? I was feeling nervous because there was others fast runner there to but all I had to do is try my best.

We were getting ready and the starter fired his pistol and it went “BOOM”. Then the crowed went wild like a pack of animals they were cheering for there own country. I was runing as fast as I could but suddenly my shoes laser came undone and I fell flat on face. There was blood gushing out of my nose and my leg was hurting. But then a nice lady came and helped me up.

Then she said to me “it's all right now let finish the race together”. 

Suddenly we finshed the race. Although we did not finsh the race but we still got the Olympic spirit. I was so happy so I give her a huge hug.

Matariki

Matariki is a Maori tradition witch is a Moaori new year. Matariki comes at the middle of June. When Matariki comes seven starts appear out of no were. On Matariki people might make a Bonfire and then all of there whanau come and cook kumara in front of the Bonfire. Some people can celebrate Matariki in a different way like go to the park, paint face, and go to the pools or have a hangai and also do fire works at night or do something else for Matariki.

Mr. Blakey's bike accident

On Friday after school I had a bike accident. Well I was riding on my bike. I went around the roundabout. But suddenly a off duty Taxi came across and the Taxi hit me. Then I went flying up in the air and bounced on the windscreen onto the floor. I was lucky because I had only broken ribs. Then some kind people helped me up and then the ambulance a the police came and took me to the hospital. I was okay but I was is so much pain and I was also lucky.

Assembly

This morning at school we had assembly. First we did the karakia. The karakia has a lot of nice things about God. After that the prefects did a korero about staying focussed because we will need to stay focussed on our work. After that Mrs. Nua did the Duffy awards. The Duffy awards means if a child gets caught being good. Tonga was the one who got the duffy awards it room 14. Then Mrs Va’afusuaga came up. She is the sports teacher she gave’s the player of the day awards. Mia was the player of the day for my netball team. Finally we all did a fair well to Miss Sadler. Then we sang a song to her the song was called one call away. Then we all said good bye Miss Sadler. Finally Mrs. Nua gave a book bag to a new student. We finished the assembly with a song. Then we went back to class.

On the weekend

On the weekend it was my cousin birthday her name is Jahzara. We went to Rock climbing with her friends and Eva and my Aunty. I climbed all the way up to the top. It was fun because I am not scared of heights. Then we went to the adventure land. We went to the slide first. It was so much fun. Then we went to go have some food it was so yummy after that we went to play a little bit more. Then we went back home. It was a long day.

Stone henge

 In England there is a place called stone henge. The stone was made in thousand years ago and  was made out of stone. Also it isn't a building. It was built in 2000-bc. The stone shap is like a circle but when you are standing up it will look like a rectangles. The colour of the stone is grey. It fell down when it was 19100. The stone are arranged in a big circle. The stone where have and it is not easy to carry the stone but you can carry little stone but we can't carry the big stone we can only drag it. When you are standing in the middle it will feel like you are standing in a collapsed building. Some Poeple write their names on the stone.By Oalii
