Task Description: This maths task is the same task as the first one but the first one was about gardening and this one is that I had to convert the answer. I also got help from a teacher Tyson Is was very hard but I got the hang of it on the second page.

Task Description. This term we have been mostly working on measurement so my follow up task is about measurement. This was so fun to try it out. I also needed a little help from Mr. Goodwin but that alright your gonna need help in your life.

BookMark/First Novel

Task Discription: My last Task for this term was that I had to take a photo on my book that I'm currently reading and also take a photo of my bookmark then I had to write about it.

Reading task - Advice Column

Walt: make connections with our own experience as we read the text.

Task Description: What we had to do for this reading task is that there was a Tongan girl called Lose she is coming to the year 5 and 6 camp but is feels very very nervous about it. So we had to convince her that year 5 and 6 camp id so so cool.

Reading Task - Camp Connections

Walt: make connections with our own experience as we read the text.

Task description: This task was all about our year 5 and 6 camp. What I had to do was read Talita's blog post from 2015 and what she in that camp and also compare what she did on her camp and what I did in my camp. I got a lot of difference from her camp and from my camp. Then I had to write the same thing that we did on both our camp. It was so fun to see what Talita did on her camp 4 years ago.

Book Review - Maui

Walt: Understand figurative and descriptive language as we read.

Task Description. The very first thing that we had to do was read our school journal. Then we had to do a book review on how well we know our book. This book is called Maui. I had thought that because the name was Maui it would be related to Moana but it was no way near the movie Moana.

Poppy The Puppy

Walt: Using Correct Punctuation.



Task Description: Today for our writing task Mr Goodwin gave us a paragraph and with that paragraph we had to put the punctuation in the right place. The Punctuation were capital letters, full stops, commas and question marks, and apostrophe. The only clues we had was there was 21 capitals, 10 full stop, 2 commas, and 2 question marks, and 1 apostrophe. I finish really fast it was so cool to do this.

Term 1 Animation - Better Together

My animation is about TEAM WORK the DREAM WORK. I also put in the new Korero Just Roll With It. This is very challenging for me as I had to try and draw a back of a chair and make sure that this was all put in place. Overall I am happy with my animation and I so Proud of it. I can't wait for what I have to animate in term 2. I hope you enjoy my movie/Animation that I Have created.


 

Plan for 8-bit Art

Walt: Create 8-bit art

This is my plan for my real life 8-bit art drawing. I have chosen to draw a Red Rose because I love the colour red and I love the flower rose. So I thought, if you put them together and draw a Red Rose it would be prefect. I love it so much.
